How to update CubeOne firmware from version 2.2.4.10 or lower to version 2.2.4.11

Hello,

If you are having troubles getting your CubeOne online, or are having other issues with the system, because your CubeOne's firmware is version 2.2.4.10 or lower, then please follow these steps to update your CubeOne's firmware to version 2.2.4.11:

Android (Adding New or Previously Removed CubeOne):

  1. Go to your phone's Google Play store and make sure to update the app to the latest app version (app version 2.1.6).
  2. Once you have updated, open the app and login to your account.
  3. If you are trying to add a new CubeOne, or are trying to add a previously removed CubeOne, then please click the + button in the middle of the screen to add the CubeOne to the home. If you already have cameras registered, then you will need to click Devices>click the + or add button at the top right>click CubeOne>Follow the setup instructions.
  4. When adding the CubeOne to your app, the app will prompt you to do a firmware update. Please allow the firmware update time to finish. If the firmware update finishes, but the CubeOne stays solid red on top, unplug the CubeOne from the power for 10-15 seconds, then plug it back in and wait for it to come online (breathe white), and then register the CubeOne.

Android (Updating Already Registered CubeOne):

  1. Go to your phone's Google Play store and make sure to update the app to the latest app version (app version 2.1.6).
  2. Once you have updated, open the app and login to your account.
  3. If you are trying to update a CubeOne that is already registered to your account, then the app should automatically start the firmware update for you, however if it does not, then click the Devices page at the bottom right>Drag the Devices page down>Select the Check For Updates button and update the CubeOne.
  4. Please allow the firmware update time to finish. If the firmware update finishes, but the CubeOne stays solid red on top, unplug the CubeOne from the power for 10-15 seconds, then plug it back in and wait for it to come online (breathe white), and then register the CubeOne.
