Superusers and Administrators are the only ones who can make changes to user permissions. In order to change these permissions, please do the following:
- On the Superuser or Administrator's phone, launch the iSmartAlarm app and login.
- Open the drawer by swiping from the left or by tapping the icon in the top left corner.
- Select Members
- Tap on the family member you would like to change the permissions for.
- Set the user to either be an Administrator or a Member. One can only be a Superuser if they registered the system.
For reference, permissions are defined as below:
Superuser – Primary account that initially creates the iSmartAlarm system. A Superuser cannot be removed from the home they created. All system settings are accessible to this user.
Administrator – Has almost the same level of access as a Superuser but they can be removed from the home.
Member – They can only Arm or Disarm the system, set it to Home, set off the Panic alert and make changes to their specific account settings. This user also has the option of leaving the home, but they cannot add any members to the home.
