List of Error Codes

Error Code 0 - There is a communication issue between your app and our server.

  • Completely shut down your app from running in the background then log in again.  This will clear up any information that has already been sent back and forth, and allow you to try to send new information again.

Error Code 102 - Our server is not able to identify the CubeOne at this time.

  • Reboot the CubeOne by unplugging the power for at least 15 seconds then plugging it back in.
  • Completely shut down your app from running in the background while waiting for the time to elapse.
  • Once the LED on top of the CubeOne is breathing white, log back into the iSmartAlarm app and continue.

Error Code 103

  • When trying to add a family member to your existing system, be sure they have downloaded the iSmartAlarm app, created their own account, and are using the QR scanner within the app, NOT a third-party scanner.

Error Code 202 - The email address you are trying to enter when creating an account is not valid or not being accepted.

  • If you have an Android device, this is due to pressing "enter" after inputting the email address which adds an additional space after the information.
  • Enter your email address once more.  Then, do not press enter/return, but just tap your finger to the side of the screen.  The keyboard will drop down and you'll be able to click on the next part without the error message.

Error Code 208 - An account already exists for this phone number.

  • Rather than choosing "Create Account" on the login page, enter your credentials and "Log In."  If you don't know the password associated with your phone number, select "Forgot Password?"

Error Code 217 - There is a communication issue between your app and our server.

  • Reboot the CubeOne by unplugging the power for at least 15 seconds then plugging it back in.
  • Once the LED on top of the CubeOne is breathing white, log back into the iSmartAlarm app and continue.

Error Code 601 - This pops up when the system recognizes it is being registered in an area that is not currently supported.  As of right now, we are only supported for use in the US, Canada and most of Europe.

Error Code 905 - This iCamera KEEP has already been added to your system and wasn't properly removed before adding back again.

To properly remove the iCamera KEEP ...

  1. Launch the iSmartAlarm application > More > Devices.
  2. Tap on the gray drop down arrow next to the Add button.
  3. Select your iCamera KEEP.
  4. Tap Edit and Remove
  5. Once the camera has been removed, hold down the reset button on the back of the camera for at least 30 seconds.
  6. After it has been removed, go to More > Devices > Add > iCamera KEEP.

Error Code 201001 - When your app tried to communicate with the CubeOne, it was not able to find it.

  • Reboot the CubeOne by unplugging the power for at least 15 seconds then plugging it back in.
  • Once the LED on top of the CubeOne is breathing white, log back into the iSmartAlarm app and continue.
